2024-25 All-Atlantic East Women's Basketball Team Announced

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Atlantic East has announced its 2024-25 All-Atlantic East Women’s Basketball Team. The team, voted upon by the league’s six head coaches, is comprised of two teams as well as six major award winners. Players were nominated by their respective coaches.

Immaculata University, the 2024-25 AEC Champion, captured five major awards. Reese Mullins, a first-team All-AEC selection, was named as the Player of the Year.  Tessa Liberatoscioli was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year, while Carly Coleman was named as the Rookie of the Year.

Immaculata's Abigail Boyer was awarded the Elite 20 Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the championship site.

Immaculata University was also awarded as the Coaching Staff of the Year by their peers.

Neumann’s Emily DuPont shared the Defensive Player of the Year award with Liberatoscioli.

Mullins led the team in scoring this season at 15.4 points per game, while shooting 44.6 percent from the field. She also averaged 7.6 rebounds per contest. Her 15.4 points per game was third best in the AEC this season.

Liberatoscioli, a second-team All-AEC selection, averaged five rebounds per game, while collecting 24 blocks and 89 steals, which was a team-high. Her 3.6 steals per game was tops in the AEC.

Mullins, a first-team All-AEC selection, led the AEC in blocks with 46 and was second in the conference in steals with 69.
Coleman, also a second-team All-AEC selection, was second on the team this season with 10.4 points per game and shot 49.3 percent from the field which was tops among the starters. She started all but one game this season.

Boyer, a first-team All-AEC selection, is a Sports and Business Management Major and has a 3.96 GPA.

The Coaching Staff at Immaculata, led by head coach Brittany Whalen, finished the regular season with a record of 22-3 and a perfect 10-0 mark in AEC play. The Mighty Macs won the AEC title with a victory over Neumann and will face Ohio Wesleyan in the first-round of the NCAA tournament on Friday.

The Atlantic East recognizes senior standouts Chandler Eddleton from Marymount and Lauren Klieber from Neumann for their incredible Atlantic East careers.
