ST. MARY’S CITY, Md. – Host Saint Mary’s College of Maryland wrapped up its second Atlantic East Conference Women’s Swimming title on Sunday, finishing the four-day championship with 841 points.
Marymount was second with 565 points, followed by Marywood University in third at 451 points. Immaculata University was fourth at 420 points, with Cedar Crest College in fifth at 238 points and Gallaudet University in sixth at 203 points.
Emerson Young won the 100 free for the Seahawks on Sunday night, taking the event with a time of 54.19. Teammate Kelsie Miller was tops in the 200 fly at 2:09.80, while the team of Miller, Mandy Cartwright, Venus Kai Judge and Young won the 400 free relay at 3:37.53, which set a new meet and conference record.
