LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, as Immaculata’s Savanna Crowding and Sam Terry won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.

Name: Savanna Crowding

Brief Outlook of Week: Savanna Crowding had a combined two goals and one assist in Immaculata's two wins this week. Crowding scored Immaculata's first goal in their win over Albright on September 24th. Crowding assisted on the game-winning goal, then later scored her second goal of the week in the second half of the Mighty Macs Atlantic East Conference season-opening win over Gwynedd Mercy on September 28th.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Sam Terry

Position: Defender

Brief Outlook of Week: Sam Terry helped lead Immaculata to a pair of wins this week. Immaculata defeated Albright 2-1 on September 24th, as Terry and the defense limited Albright to just four shots on goal during the game. In Immaculata's Atlantic East Conference opening win over Gwynedd Mercy on September 28th, Terry helped Immaculata's defense earn the clean sheet by limiting the Griffins to just five shots with only three on goal. Terry had assists in both games.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Nicole Alvarado (Fy., Marymount): In the Saints' 2-0 win over Delaware Valley on Saturday, first-year Nicole Alvarado netted the game-winning goal and then assisted the insurance goal minutes late to help put MU back in the win column.
Josephine Sorce (Gr., Marywood): Sorce had a goal and an assist in a 1-1 week for the Pacers. In a 3-0 win over Cairn, she lofted a perfectly hit corner kick to the far side of net, assisting a Britlyn Higgins goal. She successfully converted a penalty kick in the victory.
Vinona Dsilva (Fy., Pratt): Vinona Dsilva scored her first collegiate goal on Tuesday that leveled Pratt's match with Lehman at 1-all before the Lightning pulled away with two late goals in the Cannoneers lone match of the week.
Leila Lajdel (So., Marymount): Sophomore defender Leila Lajdel played a large part in the Saints' shutout 2-0 win over Delaware Valley on Saturday. Playing a crucial role in offensive opportunities as well, the Centreville, Va. native continued to fortify the back line for Marymount.
Britlyn Higgins (Gr., Marywood): Higgins helped the Pacers defense limit opponents to a .5 goals against average in a 1-1 week. The Mansfield transfer scored her first career goal in Marywood's 3-0 win over Cairn. Higgins headed a Josie Sorce corner kick into the net. She led the defense in limiting both Cairn and Eastern to four shots on goal apiece.
