LANCASTER, Pa. – Marymount wins home back to back women's basketball titles with a 66-48 win over the third seeded Neumann Knights. 

Marymount earns the conference’s automatic qualifier into the 2024 NCAA DIII Women’s Basketball Championship. The Saints will find out their opponent at the NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Selection Show at 2:30pm Monday, February 26th.

ARLINGTON -- After a slow start, Marymount women's basketball recovered to win its second straight conference championship on Saturday with a 66-48 win over Neumann. 

NOTABLE

• With the win, Marymount has now won 17 conference championships and will make its 23rd NCAA Tournament appearance.
• Since joining the Atlantic East in 2018-19, the Saints have won four of the five titles awarded. 
• Chandler Eddleton was named Atlantic East Tournament MVP after scoring 17 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the championship. 
• Symantha Shackelford added 21 points and made two 3-pointers. 
• Claire Smith also ended up in double-figures with 11 points. 
• Marymount capitalized on turnovers, outscoring Neumann 16-2 in points off turnovers, and also made second chances count with a 17-1 advantage in the category.
