LANCASTER, Pa. – The 2024 Atlantic East Conference Men's Basketball Playoffs are set to begin on Monday, February 19th with the champion crowned on Saturday, February 24th. The Atlantic East Champion will earn the conference's NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
 
Claiming the top seed and a first-round bye will be Marymount who finished the regular season with an 10-2 conference record. Gwynedd Mercy receives the second seed in the tournament and a first-round bye after a 9-3 record in Atlantic East play.
 
The full tournament seeding is as follows: 1. Marymount, 2. Gwynedd Mercy, 3. Marywood. 4. Neumann, 5. Immaculata, and 6. Cabrini.
 
The tournament will begin on Monday, February 19^th with the No. 3 seed Marywood hosting the No. 6 seed Cabrini, and the No. 4 seed Neumann hosting the No. 5 seed Immaculata. The semifinal round will take place on Wednesday February 21^st as the top two seeds host. No. 1 Marymount will host the lowest remaining seed, while No. 2 Gwynedd Mercy will host the highest remaining seed from the first-round matchups. Game times are subject to change.

Marywood and Immaculata both finished Atlantic East play with a 7-5 record and a head to head victory. Marywood defeated Marymount to earn the three seed over Neumann who was 0-2 against the Saints.

Marymount will look to defend their title winning their first Atlantic East crown in the 22-23 season. Gwynedd Mercy and Neumann have each won a conference title with the most recent being Neumann’s title in 2021-22.
