LANCASTER, Pa. - The 2024 Atlantic East Conference Women's Cross Country Championship is set for Saturday, November 2nd. The race will be hosted at Hudson Valley Sports Dome. 
 
Prior to the race, the coaches from all seven institutions voted on the 2024 Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll, and Marymount University was selected as the favorite with 35 points and five first-place votes to win its first Atlantic East title in women's cross country.

The Saints are led by Avery Finnegan who finished with three weekly awards this fall. Finnegan also finished with All Conference Honors at the 2023 Championship
 
Marywood is just behind as they look to earn a sixth straight title with 31 points and the remaining two first place votes. The Pacers return top finisher in the 2023 championship Paige Redman. 

Immaculata finished third in the poll with 24 points and will be led by sophomore Aubrey Donahue. Donahue looks to continue her success at the Atlantic East Championship after earning 2023 Rookie of the Year and Runner of the Year last season.  The sophomore has led the Mighty Macs in each of their meets this fall.

Pratt looks to make an impact with fourth in the polls and 16 points. The Cannoneers enter their first Atlantic East Championship this fall. 

Gwynedd Mercy was close behind with 15 overall points as they return four from the 2023 roster. Neumann tallied 14 points for sixth place, while Centenary closed out the polls with 12 points. 

The women's 6k race is set to begin at 11 am with the men's 8k race following at 12pm. The awards ceremony will take place at roughly 1:00 pm where the following will be recognized: Team Champion, Team Runner-Up, First-Team and Second Team All-Conference, Runner of the Year and Rookie of the Year, and Elite 20 recipient.
