Marywood's Baronski runs away with Men's Cross Country Weekly Award

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Cross Country weekly award winner on Monday, as Marywood’s Jack Baronski won the Runner of the Week.

Hometown: Peckville, Pa.  
High School: Valley View
Brief Outlook of Week: Baronski ran the second-fastest time in Marywood history in a 24th place performance at Connecticut College. He finished the 8K course in 24:46.9, beating his personal records by two seconds. Baronski outperformed last season's Connecticut time by 14 seconds. His finish led the Pacers to a 14th place showing out of 35 teams against some of Division III's top teams.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Samuel Domencic (Fr., Immaculata): Samuel Domencic finished with a time of 28:20.7 in the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle on Saturday.
 
Jodi Johnson (Gr., Neumann): Jodi Johnson had two good showings for Neumann this week. He started by coming in first place at the Lincoln Tune Up by crossing the finish line in a time of 14:49.0 in the 4K. Johnson followed with his best 8K run of the season, finishing with a time of 28:59.9 at the Interregional Border Battle at Rowan.
 
Justin Cai (Fy., Pratt): Justin Cai won the individual championship at the Medgar Evers Legacy Invitational besting a field of 36 with an 8K time of 31:12.3. Cai led Pratt Institute to a third-place team finish in the event.
