LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the 2023 Women's Swimming Major Award Winners and All-Conference teams on Tuesday afternoon as Marymount swept the major awards.

Swimmer of the Year honors went to sophomore Tidawee Srun who won two events and finished in the top three in her third event. She won a conference title in the 100 (1:06.73) and 200 Breaststroke (2:24.76), while finishing third in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:16.08. She was a part of three of the Marymount relays that all took home gold, these included the 400 medley relay, 200 medley relay, and the 800 freestyle relay.
 
Marymount first year, Brooke Dittlinger was named the Rookie of the Year after an incredible meet. Brook won a conference title in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 25.28. She also finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:02.26), and third in the 100 freestyle (56.73). She was apart of three gold medal winning relays the 200 freestyle relay, 400 medley relay and 200 medley relay.  

Marymount was awarded Coaching Staff of the Year, as voted on by the coaches of the conference, after winning their first Atlantic East swimming titles.

Lastly, the Atlantic East Elite 20 award winner for women's swimming, which is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average competing at the finals site at each of the Atlantic East's 20 team championships, is Delaney Carey from Marymount University. Carey, a member of runner-up Marymount, maintains a cumulative 4.00 GPA.
