Leesburg, Va. - Marywood University Men's Cross Country won its fifth consecutive Atlantic East Conference Championship in dominant fashion at Morven State Park.

The Pacers took a clean sweep of the top five positions to earn 15 points for the fifth straight victory. Finishing second in the team score was Immaculata with 68 points, while Cabrini took the third spot with 87 points. Marymount finished fourth with 103 points followed by Gwynedd-Mercy in fifth with 126 points. The Griffins won the tiebreak over Centenary who also finished with 126 points.

Runner of the Year honors went to Jack Baronski. The junior finished with a time of 26:43.5. The runner up was Bryce Ryder who crossed at 26:48.5. Teammate Ben Devine was named Rookie of the Year with a third-place finish and a time of 26:56.5. Sophomores Michael McCann finished fourth (26:59.4) followed by Joseph Cardillo in fifth (27:06.5). The last two All Conference First Team members were Brandon Fleschut in sixth (27:13.5), and Thomas Lee in seventh (27:35).

The Second-Team All-Conference recognition went to the runners finishing places eighth through fourteenth place. Landing eighth was Marywood’s Raidan Francis (27:43). Immaculata’s top finisher was ninth place finisher Ivan Zavala-Zavala in a time of 27:46.7. Marywood had finishers 10-14 to close out the Second Team All-Conference. Those runners were Wil Canney (28:44.5), John Russo (29:36), James Modrovsky (29:50), Owen Charles (30:10.5), and Ricky Stains III in 14^th in 30:16.

The Atlantic East Elite 20 Award is given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA competing at the final site of the championship for the top two teams. This year's award winner for men's cross country was fifth place finisher Joseph Cardillo of Marywood.
