Men's Tennis 5/4/2022 10:00:00 AM Miller Headlines Men's Tennis All-Conference Teams LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Tennis All-Conference teams and major award winners on Wednesday morning, as Marymount University and Neumann University grabbed major honors. Michael Miller of Marymount earned Player of the Year after a sensational rookie campaign. The first-year led Marymount to their first-ever men's tennis title, earned tournament MVP of the playoffs and went undefeated in #1 singles play throughout regular season and postseason conference play. Miller also went undefeated in conference play at #1 doubles with partner, Dorian Guiot, another first team all-conference honoree from Marymount. Due to his success in his first year, Miller was also tabbed Rookie of the Year. Neumann garnered Coaching Staff of the Year after earning the second seed for the 2022 Atlantic East Playoffs with a 4-1 conference record. Head Coach, Sam Miles, guided the Knights to the 2022 Atlantic East Championship match. Lastly, the Atlantic East Elite 20 award winner for men's tennis, which is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average competing at the finals site at each of the Atlantic East's 20 team championships, was awarded to Emmanuel Achu of Marymount University. Achu, a member of the conference champion team, maintains a cumulative 3.74 GPA as a nursing major. For the entire selection criteria and process, click here.
