LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer All-Conference teams and major awards on Friday, as four teams earned major honors. All Conference selections are voted on by the league's coaches.
 
Player of the Year honors went to Marymount's Laney Placido. The forward finished the season leading the conference with ten goals for the year. Placido was a big part of the Saints' offense. She tallied two game-winning goals, five assists, and 25 total points for Marymount this fall.

Cabrini's Rebekah Cunningham was named Defensive Player of the Year. Cunningham was a force defensively as the Cavaliers allowed just 15 goals in 18 games this season. The defender also added seven goals for 14 points this season.
 
Midfielder Carly Walters had a breakout first campaign with the Pacers to earn Rookie of the Year recognition. Walters led Marywood to a conference title, while finishing second in the conference with nine goals for the season. The first-year midfielder dished out two assists for 20 points this fall.
 
Neumann University was named Coaching Staff of the Year after finishing the conference runner up in the championship and third overall in the regular season. The staff were led by Rosie Kays and assisted by Angelica Kays and Bri King. The Knights improved their conference record and overall record this season with a 4-1-1 and 7-10 record respectively.
