1. What does Title IX mean to you?
Title IX means fair and equitable opportunity for me. When you look back at where you ended up either professionally or personally, you can often attribute it to an opportunity that came your way. Title IX ensures that the young people I coach have the same opportunities coming their way that male teams do.

2. How has Title IX affected you?
Title IX has affected me as both a female athlete and female coach by allowing me a voice and a place in collegiate athletics which have both shaped me personally and professionally. Title IX has inspired me to teach my players to advocate for themselves on the field, in the classroom and in the workplace.

3. Why is Title IX Important?
Title IX is important to me because it's rooted in preventing discrimination and this is especially important in today's climate. When student athletes are given equal rights in their educational setting, it allows them to thrive and reap all the benefits of the college athlete experience which has the power to impact them for a lifetime.
