Norwood, Spencer Named Men's Basketball Players of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Monday, as Neumann University's Tyler Norwood earned Player of the Week and Gwynedd Mercy University's Donaven Spencer grabbed Defensive Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Norwood averaged 27.5 points as the Knights opened the season with two wins. In the season opener, the junior netted 24 points in the win over Shenandoah. He followed up with a 31 point performance in the win over Delaware Valley.

He opened the weekend with 15 points, 8 rebounds (1o, 7d), 5 assists, and 5 steals in a 98-79 win over Delaware Valley University, before finishing it with 10 points, seven rebounds (1o, 6d), and three assists in a 71-62 win over Shenandoah University.

Manny Clark (Gwynedd Mercy / Sophomore): Clark leads the Griffins in PPG (18.0) while recording 13 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks, and four steals in a pair of wins at the PurpleStride Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Tip-Off Classic. Clark offered 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a block, and two steals in a 98-79 win over Delaware Valley University, before totaling 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, a block, and two steals in a 71-62 triumph over Shenandoah University.

Trevor Seitz (Marywood / Sophomore): Seitz scored 28 points in his season debut. Seitz made 11 of 15 shots from the field, including a 4 of 6 performance from beyond the arc.
