Scott, Pa. - Marywood University men's cross country won its third consecutive Atlantic East Conference championship Saturday at Lakeland High School.

The Pacers secured seven top-ten finishes to earn 16 points and reclaim their conference title for the third time. Marywood edged second-place Gwynedd Mercy (65 points) and third-place Immaculata (70 points). Both the Macs and the Griffins landed one in the top pack.

Cabrini (88 points) took fourth while Marymount (135 points) and Centenary (159 points) rounded out the competition in fifth and sixth, respectively.

Marywood's Thomas Lee finished as the top performer with a time of 28:56, besting Jack Baronski of Marywood by one second. Neumann's Drew Konieczny finished in third with a time of 29:06 in the 8k race.

Rounding out the top-five were Marywood's Caleb Bakalyar (29:12) and Nathan Strutski (29:22).

Finishing six through ten were Gwynedd's Thomas Balla (29:52), Marywood's Gavin Beck (29:59), Immaculata's Ivan Zavala-Zavala (30:06) and Marywood's John Russo (30:21) and Josh Godlewski (30:44)

Lee earned both Rookie and Runner of the Year.
