Kearney, Rodriguez Earn Women's Basketball Players of the Week
LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week on Monday afternoon, as Immaculata University's Theresa Kearney was named Player of the Week and Cabrini University's Katie Rodriguez earned Defensive Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Kearney had a great week for the Mighty Macs as the junior scored in double-figures in all three games while also recording a double-double on Saturday to help lead Immaculata to a 2-1 performance on the week. On Tuesday evening vs Haverford, Kearney began her week scoring 17 points while also chipping in six rebounds in the setback for the Macs. On Thursday evening, the junior scored 20 points while also coming away with eight rebounds and two assists to lead Immaculata to a convincing victory over Bryn Mawr. On Saturday afternoon vs Cedar Crest, Kearney turned in her top performance of the week as she scored 18 points while registering 11 rebounds and five assists to lead Immaculata to a 20-point victory, thus, improving the Macs to 2-1 on the week.She finished the week with 55 points, 25 rebounds, nine assists, five steals, and a block.

Brief Outlook of Week: Rodriguez flashed in her opening week for the Blue and White as averaged 8.3 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game. The rookie posted a season high 13 points and 11 rebounds in the Cavs season opening victory over rival Eastern University. She also averaged an impressive four blocks per game over the three game span, highlighted by a five-block performance in the Cavs' victory over Pitt Greensburg. She finished the week with 25 points, 12 blocks, four steals, two assists, and 28 rebounds, 12 of which were on the offensive end.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Gabby Haddad (Marymount / Senior / Forward): Haddad led Marymount to the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament championship, with a 2-0 weekend, while being named the tournament MVP. She finished with 11 points against Haverford on Friday, before scoring 10 points against Sage on Saturday. Haddad also finished the weekend with nine rebounds and a steal for the weekend.
Lexi Edwards (Cabrini / Junior / Guard): Edwards started all three games for the Cavs this week and averaged 11.7 points per game and four rebounds per game. The junior also added five assists and nine steals across the three games. Edwards highlighted her week with an 18 point outburst in the Cavs season opener against rival Eastern University.
Aryah Aungst (Marywood / Senior / Guard): Aungst averaged 19.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Pacers. She scored 25 points to lead the Pacers to a 64-46 win over Delaware Valley. Aungst went 5 for 6 from beyond the arc. She added 14 points in a loss to Franklin & Marshall. For the week, Aungst finished with six steals, three blocks, .500 field goal percentage, and .556 3-point percentage.
