Cabrini Takes the No. 1 Seed into the Women's Lacrosse Tournament

LANCASTER, Pa. – The 2023 Atlantic East Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship is set to begin on Saturday, April 29th and crown the champion on Saturday, May 5th. The Atlantic East Champion will earn the conference’s NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
 
The tournament seeding is as follows: 1. Cabrini, 2. Marywood, 3.Marymount, 4. Neumann, 5. Immaculata, 6. Gwynedd Mercy
 
The tournament will begin on Saturday, April 29th with the No. 3 seed Marymount hosting No. 6 seed Gwynedd Mercy, while No. 5 Immaculata will travel to No. 4 Neumann for an opening round contest. The semifinal round will take place on Wednesday, May 3rd with top seed Cabrini hosting the lowest remaining seed while, No. 2 Marywood will host the other first round winner. The 2023 championship game will take place on Saturday, May 6th at the highest remaining seed. All game times will be set by the home team and are subject to change.

Since the conference inception in 2018, Cabrini has won the three conference titles and hope to continue their success with a 2023 Atlantic East Title.
