Marywood Three-Peats in Men's Track & Field

Immaculata, Pa. — Marywood University won the men's track & field championships for the third time this weekend at Immaculata University. The Pacers took first place in 9 total men's events.

In the men's race, Marywood doubled runner-up Marymount with 284 points to the Saints' 142. The Griffins edged Immaculata 79-78 to take third place. 

Ryan Mathews earned Men's Field Athlete of the Year while Brandon Soubik of Gwynedd Mercy University was awarded Men's Track Athlete of the Year.

The Pacers also received the Elite 20 Award for the top individual grade-point average among the top two finishing men's teams. Nate Skrutski was the recipient of the award.
