LANCASTER, Pa. – The 2022 Atlantic East Conference Women's Volleyball Championship is set to begin on Tuesday, November 1st and will crown the champion on Saturday, November 5th. The Atlantic East Champion will earn the conference’s NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
 
The tournament seeding is as follows: 1. Cabrini, 2. Marymount, 3. Neumann, 4. Marywood, 5. Gwynedd Mercy, 6. Centenary.
 
The tournament will begin on Tuesday, November 1st with the No. 3 seed Neumann hosting the No. 6 seed Centenary and the No. 4 seed Marywood hosting the No. 5 seed Gwynedd Mercy. The semifinal round will take place on Thursday, November 3rd with Cabrini hosting the lowest remaining seed and Marymount hosting the other first round winner. The 2022 championship game will take place on Saturday, November 5th at 5 pm at the highest remaining seed. All game times will be set by the home team and are subject to change.
 
For the fourth seed there was a three-way tie in the standings with Marywood, Gwynedd Mercy and Centenary all finishing with a 2-4 record. They split their head-to-head matches with each having one win and one loss. The tie was determined by sets won minus the sets lost. In this Marywood pulled away for the No. 4 seed. Gwynedd Mercy then defeated Centenary in their contest this season to take the No. 5 seed.

Since the conference inception in 2018, Cabrini and Marymount have each won championship titles. Marymount has been in each of the Atlantic East Championship matches and looks to return this season.
