Immaculata Highlights List of Winter and Spring Team Academic Winners
LANCASTER, Pa. - The final semester of the first year of the Atlantic East Conference has concluded, with many of the seven institutions performing at a high level, not just in their respective sports, but also in the classroom. On Thursday, the league announced the Team Academic Award winners for the winter and spring sports.
The Team Academic Award is awarded to the institution's team that had the top GPA in its respective sport through the semester(s) it played in. The GPA is calculated for each season as follows:
- Fall Season Teams (WSOC, MSOC, WVB, FH, WXC, MXC): Fall Semester Grades
- Winter Season Teams (WBB, MBB, WSWIM, MSWIM): Cumulative of Fall and Spring Semester Grades
- Spring Season Teams (MLAX, WLAX, BB, SB, MGOLF, WGOLF, MT&F, WT&F, MTEN, WTEN): Spring Semester Grades
With tremendous grades across the board for all institutions, six of the seven schools took the top spots in different sports led by Immaculata University with seven. Marymount University followed with three, while Gwynedd Mercy University, Cabrini University, and Marywood University all won one.

- Men's Golf: Cabrini, 3.37
- Women's Golf: Neumann, 3.61
- Men's Track & Field: Immaculata, 3.39
- Women's Track & Field: Marywood, 3.65
- Men's Lacrosse: Gwynedd Mercy, 3.27
- Women's Lacrosse: Immaculata, 3.67
- Baseball: Marymount, 3.23
